[rantings]
the significance of sleep dawned upon her.
the appearence of eye bags and black ring was a shock to the beauty.
late night events were out of her league.
but she had switched leagues for a night. just one.
enjoyable it may have been but the price for disobeying her folks came later.
lack of rest & recover was talking its toll on her.
her eyelids struggled to remina open; her body was weak and lazy.
her mind was stagnant, drifting in and out of focus.
yawns were frequent & inevitable.
she dozed off uncontrollably for a fraction of a second.
and was awakened promptly by the rapping on her table.
the solemn look on the lecturer's face spoke of utter disappointment & disgust.
she shot an apologetic look & returned,ashamed,to her work.
the laser eyes changed its target & she was left in peace once again.
sigh.
she knew it was going to be a long day..
